Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the project but typically ranges from 20-50% of the total service fee.
Balance: The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot. If the balance is not paid by the scheduled date, services will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via CashApp, Zelle, Apple Pay, or cash.
Note: Any payment made after hours or on weekends may delay processing.
Rescheduling: You can reschedule your shoot once at no additional charge if requested at least 72 hours in advance. After one reschedule, a new deposit may be required.
Cancellations: If you cancel your shoot within 7 days of the scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for cancellations, only the option to reschedule.
No-Show: If the client does not show up or is more than 30 minutes late to the scheduled shoot without prior notice, the session will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
Shoot Duration: The agreed-upon shoot time is the total duration for shooting. If the shoot goes over the scheduled time, you will be charged an additional fee.
Late Arrival: If the client is late, the shoot will end at the originally scheduled time, and no additional time will be added unless prior arrangements have been made. Clients are granted a 15 min. window if late.
Breaks: If a break is needed, we will pause the clock during the break. Extended breaks will be considered as part of the shoot time and will be charged accordingly.
Raw Footage: Unless specified, raw footage is not included in the standard packages. If you would like raw footage, it can be purchased for an additional fee of $25 per project.
Editing: All packages include basic edits, such as color correction, basic transitions, and audio adjustments. Advanced edits (VFX, slow-motion, custom transitions) may be available for an additional fee.
Delivery Timeline: Standard delivery time for edited videos or photos is 5–7 business days after the shoot. Rush delivery (within 48 hours) can be requested for an additional fee of $30.
Usage Rights: All photos and videos created are owned by Next Step Visualz unless otherwise stated. Clients are granted usage rights for personal use, such as sharing on social media, websites, or personal projects.
Commercial Use: If the content is intended for commercial use (e.g., advertisement, branding, etc.), additional licensing fees may apply.
Editing Rights: Clients are not permitted to alter, edit, or manipulate the photos or videos without written permission from Next Step Visualz. Any unauthorized edits or usage outside of personal purposes are prohibited.
Local Travel: Travel within 20 miles of Lorain County is included in the price of the service.
Out-of-Area Travel: For locations beyond 20 miles, a travel fee will be applied depending on distance. This will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.
Equipment Handling: Clients are not allowed to handle or use any of the photographer’s or videographer’s equipment during the shoot.
Safety: Next Step Visualz is committed to a safe working environment. If the location is unsafe or presents a risk to the photographer/videographer or equipment, the shoot will be canceled, and the deposit will not be refunded.
Model Release: The client grants Next Step Visualz permission to use the photos and videos taken during the shoot for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, portfolio, or marketing materials.
Final Approval: The client is responsible for providing feedback and approval during the editing phase. If no feedback is given within 7 days, the final product will be considered approved as-is.
Property & Equipment: The client is responsible for any damage caused to Next Step Visualz's equipment, props, or studio space during the shoot.
Weather Delays: In the case of an outdoor shoot, weather conditions may affect the shoot. If the weather is unfavorable, the shoot will be rescheduled.
Force Majeure: Next Step Visualz is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or issues resulting from situations beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, etc.).
Limitation of Liability: In the event of an error or omission, Next Step Visualz will not be held liable for more than the total amount paid for the service.
By booking services with Next Step Visualz, the client agrees to all policies and terms outlined on this page. A signed contract may be required for larger or complex projects.
